DTI Rizal ignites entrepreneurial growth with CHAMPS Rizal commitment signing
ANTIPOLO CITY, RIZAL – June 10, 2025 – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Rizal successfully hosted a significant commitment signing ceremony for 30 beneficiaries of its Collaborative Harnessing Assistance for Mentoring Program for Small and Micro Enterprises in Rizal (CHAMPS Rizal). Held at Robinsons Mall Antipolo, the event marks a pivotal step in fostering the growth and development of local small and micro-enterprises (SMEs) in the province.
The program was hosted by DTI Rizal Business Counselor, John Francis L. Sta. Rita. The proceedings commenced with a vibrant welcome remark from Business Development Division Chief, Sharon F. Dioco, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts in economic empowerment.
Following the opening, Mr. Sta. Rita provided a comprehensive orientation on the CHAMPS Rizal program, outlining its objectives and expected outcomes for the beneficiaries. The event gained further momentum with an inspiring message from DTI Rizal Provincial Director, Cleotilde M. Duran, who underscored DTI’s commitment to nurturing local businesses.
The highlight of the ceremony was the commitment signing, led by DTI Senior Trade and Industry Specialist Marlene G. De Luna, with the crucial assistance of SSF Support Staff Paolo Garovillas. The 30 beneficiaries formally pledged their dedication to the program, ready to embark on a journey of mentorship and capacity building.
Before the conclusion, a representative from the beneficiaries delivered a heartfelt message, expressing profound gratitude to DTI Rizal for the invaluable opportunity and articulating their collective excitement and anticipation for the entire duration of the CHAMPS Rizal program. ♦
