DTI Rizal holds KMME-MME commitment signing for 10 selected mentees

ANTIPOLO CITY | In a strong show of dedication to micro and small enterprise development, the DTI Rizal Provincial Office officially launched the Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME-MME) Program through a Commitment Signing Ceremony.
The event was facilitated by Ms. Sep Laurel, Trade-Industry Development Analyst and the Provincial Coordinator of KMME-MME in Rizal, and was graced by Ms. Sharon Dioco, Chief of the Business Development Division. In her welcome remarks, Ms. Dioco emphasized the broader impact of the program, stating:
“Hindi lang ito [KMME-MME] tungkol sa technical know-how; ito ay tungkol din sa paghubog ng isang resilient at entrepreneurial mindset na kakailanganin ninyo sa pagharap sa mga hamon at oportunidad sa negosyo.”
Following the opening message, the 10 selected mentees proceeded with the signing of their Contract of Commitment, a symbolic pledge of their full participation and accountability throughout the KMME-MME program cycle.
As stipulated in the contract, each mentee commits to:
- Attend all scheduled sessions as announced by the Program Coordinator.
- Comply diligently with assignments from mentors.
- Actively participate in discussions and peer learning.
- Regularly report their enterprise’s weekly performance during the program.
- Submit quarterly performance updates to the Negosyo Center for two years after completing the program.
- Engage in other DTI programs, especially follow-up activities for mentees.
After the signing, Ms. Laurel presented the implementation timeline of the program, which will run from July to October 2025.
The mentees were carefully selected through a thorough screening process, which included attendance in the program orientation, submission of complete documentary requirements, and a successful panel interview.
