DTI Sorsogon brings 3rd edition of “Sorsogon GoConut Trade Fair” to Shangri-La Plaza, showcasing the best of coconut innovation

Mandaluyong City, Philippines — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Sorsogon Provincial Office is set to stage the 3rd Edition of the Sorsogon GoConut Trade Fair, bringing the creativity, craftsmanship, and ingenuity of 25 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from Sorsogon to the national spotlight.

Dubbed as “Sorsogon GoConut Trade Fair @ Shangri-La,” the event will run from August 28 to 31, 2025 at the Level 2, Grand Atrium, Shangri-La Plaza Mall, Mandaluyong City. The four-day showcase will feature a diverse collection of coconut-based food, beverages, handicrafts, home décor, fashion accessories, and wellness products—all highlighting the versatility of the coconut and the artistry of Sorsoganons.

Among the exciting products to be featured are:

  • Coconut-based food delicacies such as cocojam, coco sugar, virgin coconut oil (VCO), coco vinegar, and coco-based snacks;
  • Wellness and beauty products including handmade bath soaps, massage oils, and aromatherapy essentials derived from coconut;
  • Handcrafted ornaments and décor such as coconut shell jewelry, fashion accessories, and Christmas ornaments;
  • Eco-friendly home essentials made from coconut husks, shells, and other by-products that champion sustainability.

First launched in 2023 in Sorsogon City, the Sorsogon GoConut Trade Fair is the first and only province-led coconut industry trade fair at a national level. It continues to serve as a vital platform for Sorsogon MSMEs to expand market reach, build stronger linkages with industry partners, and raise awareness for sustainable, eco-friendly, and culturally rooted products. Through this initiative, DTI aims to promote trade and investment opportunities that foster the inclusive growth of Sorsogon’s coconut industry.

The Opening Program will take place on August 28, 2025 at 3:00 PM, to be attended by local government officials, along with officers and staff of the Department of Trade and Industry.

The public is invited to visit the Sorsogon GoConut Trade Fair during mall hours from August 28 to 31, 2025 at Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong City, and discover a wide variety of coconut-based products proudly made in Sorsogon.
