The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has officially opened the Coconut Philippines Trade Fair 2025, the country’s first national trade show dedicated to transforming the Philippine coconut industry from a raw material supplier into a global source of high-value, market-ready products.

The groundbreaking fair showcases the creativity and innovation of Filipino cocopreneurs, featuring a wide spectrum of eco-friendly and world-class coconut-based products—ranging from food and wellness essentials to fashion, lifestyle, and home goods.

Alongside the trade fair, DTI launched “Coconut Nation”, a unifying advocacy that consolidates government and industry programs into a single, coordinated effort. The initiative aims to foster inclusive growth, empower coconut farmers and entrepreneurs, and promote sustainable, market-driven practices across the value chain.

The DTI also acknowledged the strong collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, Philippine Coconut Authority, and other government partners in laying the groundwork for a globally competitive and inclusive coconut industry.

The Coconut Philippines Trade Fair 2025 runs until September 2, 2025, at Megatrade Halls 1–3, Level 5, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City. ♦
