Programs and Projects
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) runs several consumer-focused programs to promote protection and empowerment. These include e-Presyo, an online tool for checking current prices of basic goods; the Bagwis Awards, which recognize establishments upholding consumer rights and responsible business practices; the Diskwento Caravan, a nationwide effort providing discounted basic goods in partnership with other agencies and local suppliers; and Konsyumer Atbp. (KATBP), a consumer education radio program that informs the public about their rights and key issues.
