PTIC Taipei, MECO host Philippine-Taiwan business exchange

Taipei, Taiwan — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Taipei (PTIC-Taipei) and the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) successfully hosted a Buyers’ Night on 24 June to showcase premium export-quality Philippine food products.
The event was held on the sidelines of the Taipei International Food Show 2025 and was organized in collaboration with the DTI-Export Marketing Bureau (DTI-EMB), the Department of Agriculture’s Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service (DA-AMAS), PHILEXPORT, and PHILFOODEX.
Philippine exporters presented a diverse selection of world-class products—from fresh produce and snacks to coconut beverages and ready-to-eat dishes—that sparked meaningful business discussions with Taiwan importers.
The strong turnout and interest generated new opportunities for collaboration and market expansion solidifying Philippines’ capacity of being a reliable partner in the Asian food supply chain. ♦
